Renee

Renee maintains the hotel grounds and is the green thumb behind our beautiful gardens. When he’s not tending to the flowers, you’ll find him cooking up something delicious over at The Chalfonte Hotel (it’s worth a visit!). From blooms to bites, Renee does it all!

What do you think separates the Boarding House from other hotels in Cape May?
The architecture – mainly the garden wall. I haven’t seen anything similar.

Which amenity would you enjoy most if you were to stay at the Boarding House?
Definitely the upstairs sun deck!

What is one thing someone MUST do while visiting Cape May?
Hit the beaches and all the local shopping on the Washington street mall

Best spot in the Cape May area to grab a bite/drink after a long day at work?
Elaine's, they have plenty of room and three bars! And it’s right down the street from the hotel.

In three words, describe the Boarding House!
Enjoyable, amazing, quality.
